Poem

 Today we wrote a poem, my poem is this:



It gets you down, slowly but surely

The west and tear of the “love” you crave,

You try and try but it seems to fail

Every try is like an endless hail.

Searching will not lead you to your destination, 

The love will swallow you like a black hole,

Some love will not be love

It will make you believe that it is try.

Till it appears, 

Don’t let it bring you down, 

It shall come to you like a delicious smell,

Like a light in a room full of darkness,

But not waiting to be found.

Love shall find you when it feels like you are ready 

It will come only when your life is steady.

 Today we worked on the PowerPoint part of our final. It was easy because we had all the information from the two worksheets we completed. We had to put it all together and have it correct and neat. I couldn’t figure out how to add a picture but I did and I turned it in when I got home. I feel like that was the easiest project we’ve had.

 I don’t know if any secrets kept from me. There may be secrets kept from me which may be why I don’t know about them. If they are kept from me, and their for my own good then I believe they should stay kept from me. If these secrets are something that isn’t protecting me then I feel like I should know. Hopefully there really aren’t any secrets.

What I learned

 Today I learned about a famous poet James Langston Hughes. He wrote a poem called “The Negro Speaks of Rivers”. We broke down the poem and figured out that Langston was referring to all black race, not just African Americans, the color of black skin. The black race has been existing since the beginning of time.
